71 private pavilions and villas are set amongst the immaculate gardens, crowned by Mauritian-style thatched roofs and elegantly appointed with beautiful oak and cane furniture. Full-length windows ensure that rooms are flooded with natural light, and all are equipped with a stylish marble bathroom including separate sunken bath and shower, air-conditioning, complimentary WiFi, iPod docking station, satellite LED TV, mini bar and Nespresso machine. All Luxury Pavilions enjoy ocean views and have an open-plan bedroom and living area, while the more spacious Luxury Villas are set within their own private, walled garden, some with private plunge pools. Restaurants And Bars

The main dining venue, called simply The Restaurant, is a delightful al fresco affair, open for breakfast and dinner and serving a variety of international and Mauritian specialities. On The Rocks enjoys a more dramatic setting, on a rocky promontory just above the crashing waves and the menu includes fresh seafood, salads and wood-fired pizzas during the day and barbecue grills in the evening. For a truly atmospheric and exclusive experience, you can dine inside the Gunpowder Room, a rustic stone warehouse that dates back to the French colonial period, open twice a week and seating just six people. There is also a lovely bar with ocean views and live piano music every evening.

Hotel facilities include 2 pools, a fitness suite, floodlit tennis courts and watersports including diving, waterskiing, windsurfing and sailing. Secluded amongst the trees you’ll find the serene spa, offering a range of treatments including Ayurvedic, Thai and Balinese, as well as wellness activities including hatha yoga, Tai chi and meditation. Each spa treatment room is set within its own tranquil walled garden and is partially open air with a shallow reflecting pool on one side.
