There are 60 double-storey one, two or three-bedroom penthouse residences which sit either steps from the sea on the beach, or overwater on stilts, each with a maximum living area of 255 metres squared. Each residence features its own ‘reef’ terrace which is elevated five metres above the giant house lagoon. Terraces feature a cinema and SONOS, a yoga plinth, starlight jacuzzi and outdoor games.
There are several restaurants: the MIXE is a tempting all-day menu of island specialities and NIKKEI is a new Japanese/Peruvian culinary escape. Beach Rouge is a comfortable lounge, and there's a Café LUX*, accompanied by a bar and a wine cave. For something special, book a table at the exclusive private dining room which features a wall-to-wall aquarium.
These include a LUX* Me Spa, a kids’ club, an in-house marine centre where biologists are on hand to allow guests to explore the beautiful marine life of Male’ Atoll. There is also a small fleet of luxury yachts used to cruise guests around the area.
