Location

Just above the picturesque villa of Plaka, Elounda, Crete. Approximately 200 metres from the pebble stone beach.

Accommodation

116 contemporary and elegant rooms and suites all enjoy fabulous sea views and many feature a private pool for added luxury. Within the décor elements of rare craftsmanship seamlessly blend the resort’s look and feel with the surrounding hills and the Cretan archipelago’s azure water. For larger families, the three-floor villas with private pools allow for plenty room to spread out. Families will also love the Grand Suite which has two private pools, BBQ area, large indoor and outdoor spaces and magnificent panoramic views.

Restaurants And Bars

There are five restaurants to choose from with menus curated by Michelin awarded chef Lefteris Lazarou, the restaurants offer a culinary treat with the gourmet restaurant Kelari showcasing timeless Greek dishes in the evening, Sage & Thyme ideal for a Mediterranean lunch and a delightful breakfast is served in the Ambrosia. Stone Beach by Cayo serves fresh juice and Cretan Meza with views of the seafront. A brand-new Greek cuisine restaurant serves the authentic Cretan style food. Emerald Bar is the beautifully decorated lobby bar that connects to a spacious outdoor veranda. Musical performances and cultural events take place at an outdoor amphitheatre.

Facilities

The three large outdoor pools offer sunbeds and umbrellas to spend the day by the pool savouring a magnificent view of the island of Spinalonga. When in an athletic mood, in addition to the resort’s cozy fitness suite, there’s a brand new two-level open-air gym with all the latest training and cardiovascular exercise equipment. Enjoy the day in Cayo’s idyllic spot on the beach, only 250m from the resort itself. A dedicated beach shuttle transfers guests from the resort to the seafront and back. Sea lovers can enjoy a variety of watersports offered in the area. Choices include kayaking, windsurfing, waterskiing, wakeboarding, and scuba diving. The Armonia Spa features a large indoor relaxing pool, steam room, three treatment rooms, a sauna, a hair salon, and a nail salon. A brand-new children’s play area is also set to open in 2024.
