Moon Palace Jamaica is Palace Resorts’ first property outside of Mexico, and it’s looking fabulous after a recent multi-million-dollar refurbishment. With smart, contemporary rooms, a great range of facilities and an extensive all-inclusive programme, this is a resort that ticks all the boxes for a fantastic family break in the sun.

The resort’s 705 rooms and suites are furnished in a modern style, most with ocean views and a private balcony. All rooms are air conditioned and come equipped with Smart TV, complimentary WiFi, mini bar and tea/coffee making facilities. Upgrade to Concierge Level for a host of additional amenities including liquor dispenser with upgraded brands, an exclusive beach area with waiter service, two 25-minute massages per stay, early check-in and late check-out (subject to availability), and L’Occitane bath products. The two-bedroom Family Connection Luxury Suites accommodate up to six guests and come with mini bathrobes and slippers for the kids, plus an Xbox in the room, with games and DVDs available on request.
There are four restaurants offering a range of international cuisine, including Italian and Asian speciality restaurants, plus an excellent seafood option. There are also six bars dotted around the resort, including a swim-up bar and the adult-only Martini bar, plus the stylish Noir nightclub, with DJs spinning tunes ‘til late.
These include four swimming pools with a separate children’s pool, FlowRider wave simulator, fitness centre and complimentary non-motorised watersports. Younger guests are well catered for at the complimentary Playroom kids’ club for ages 4-12 yrs, and there is also the Wired lounge for the older ones. The Awe Spa features treatments such as herbal steam baths and relaxing massages, and the resort also offers a number of activities and excursions, including snorkelling trips, plantation tours and visits to the nearby Mystic Mountain park. Complimentary WiFi is available throughout the property.
