Festival RumBahamas
RumBahamas is a three day celebration of rum, food and culture, taking place at Fort Charlotte in Nassau between 27 February – 1 March 2015. With entertainment from local artists, you're guaranteed to shake and shimmy like never before. Experience the rhythms of the Caribbean and quench your thirst with a selection of exotic rums - it’s a party not to be missed!

Junkanoo
Carnival in the Bahamas is known as Junkanoo, and it's a celebration like no other. This annual event spans five weeks beginning on Easter Monday, and it's open for everyone to join in the fun. The events scheduled for 7 - 9 May will showcase cultural activities including Bahamian cuisine, street parades, costume contests, music and dance shows, poetry readings and visual arts.

John Watling’s Distillery
Learn how that most famous of Caribbean tipples is made with a complimentary tour of the John Watling’s rum distillery, located on the Buena Vista Estate in downtown Nassau. This historic estate, founded in 1789 and overlooking the harbour, features a museum-like tour, shopping and signature Bahamian cocktails at the Red Turtle Tavern. The estate is located on Delancy Street and is open from 9am to 5pm, seven days a week.
