Caribtours managing director, Paul Cleary, ran the London Marathon for the third time on Sunday 13 April, finishing in an impressive 4 hours 14 minutes. Paul was running for Sense, a national charity that supports and campaigns for children and adults who are deafblind. Thanks to the support and generosity of his donors, Paul raised £1,500, every penny of which will go to support the invaluable work that Sense does.
"Running the London Marathon was just an amazing experience – it is a combination of sheer exhilaration, emotion and ultimately exhaustion but I have to say I loved every minute. As every runner will tell you, the race itself is the culmination of months of lonely training on the streets of London before dawn in the freezing cold, so to finally cross the finish line, in the glorious April sunshine with the support of thousands of people, is a special experience."
